Matthew Wagner is the Farm Manager at the Virginia Tech Catawba Sustainability Center. He began working in agriculture in 2020, with a commitment to small-scale, local food systems and environmentally sound practices. Matthew joined the Catawba Sustainability Center in 2024 and is particularly interested in whole-systems approaches that integrate regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, and grazing systems to support soil and environmental health.
